This position will be part of the Xbox cost reduction team. Team is responsible for aggressively driving cost out of the console. The position will support cost reduction team by assuring that cost reduced designs are manufacturable. Position will also work to find additional, cost competitive manufacturers for console. Responsibilities include concurrent engineering at design concept stage, component sourcing and management, production line qualification, and design verification. Qualifications should include an EE, ME, IE degree, contract negotiation experience, knowledge of product design process, knowledge of plastics, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and knowledge of logistics and transportation.
