Design security and privacy in Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers, and drive the adoption of this uniform design across the entire division. For a small group of PMs, the assignment is to coordinate security issues primarily among all .NET Enterprise Servers, but also with Windows and MSN and other customers. Security issues include user authentication using Windows or Passport mechanisms, delegation between processes and machines, groups and roles, auditing and intrusion detection, security administration and analysis, privacy, spec and code reviews, and internal penetration testing. Coordinating includes negotiating common concepts and scenarios, as well as solutions and implementations, writing and reviewing specs, driving adoption & follow-through internally & externally, and more.
