The Platform Integration Service Management Team is seeking a highly motivated individual that truly understands the meaning of service management as it relates to global online services. This candidate will possess the ability to relate confidently with complex business and technical challenges and have a solid understanding of end-to-end development and deployment processes within the online service environment. As a member of the Platform Integration Service Management Team, you will be a primary point of contact to MSNs broad online partner-base and will also align yourself in a dedicated working relationship with core business and technical support teams. This position will be responsible for providing technical and business feasibility assessments and will be responsible for driving key infrastructure designs and implementation. Core to this position will be the ability to understand diverse business and technical requirements and being able to evangelize, plan and coordinate the implementation of these integrated solutions. You will be a key player on the team building the service that will make Microsoft the leader in the ever-growing Internet advertising, user profiling and content management industry. You will work closely with product groups to understand and solve technical issues, with product planning to design and implement new service offerings, business groups to define and drive system solutions to meet business needs, technical operations in providing an excellent quality of service and with other platform team members in driving requirements into the next generation of Ads, User targeting/ personalization and content management systems. This position requires a strong technical and business background and the ability to juggle many activities while thinking in real-time. Qualifications include a strong understanding of operational practices, release and deployment strategy, business requirements and technical specification, a passion for delivering exceptional quality of service, an ability to bring vision to defining process for evaluating business needs and providing technical solutions. A breadth of technical knowledge in an online service is fundamental to this position, as is a strategic understanding of the online business industry and what is needed to successfully deliver quality an ever-changing environment. Specific knowledge of and experience with Internet server application development, networking, capacity and performance planning, SQL, IIS and COM are highly desirable. Candidate should have excellent oral and written communications skills, strong team and leadership skills, ability to negotiate with external teams and partners, strong customer orientation, and a passion for driving quality services. A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline and business knowledge preferred.
